The Aptitude-Academy is a close cooperation of the Dutch Training Institute for Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NTI-NLP) in Limmen, Johannes B. Schmidt, Andrea M. Wandel and several partners to promote people in working out in an ongoing process their full authenticity and potential.
Johannes Benedikt Schmidt
Johannes Benedikt Schmidt Founder of the Aptitude-Academy, Master Degree in Psychology, works as consultant, counsellor and psychotherapist. He has been trained in Behavior Therapy (IWVT-Hamburg), Hypnotherapy (M.E.G.-Munich), Constructivist-Systemic Work (IGST, Heidelberg), Constellation Work (Bert Hellinger), Somatic Experiencing (Peter Levine) and in Craniosacral Biodynamics (Franklyn Sills/Michael Shea). Johannes was trained in farming, worked as an employee for an insurance company and as a freelancer for consulting companies. Today he teaches in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland and South Africa. He offers seminars in constellation work, trauma-work, systemic communication and personal change processes. He facilitates solutions for individuals, companies and family businesses. Johannes works in the field of coaching, supervision, teaching and consulting. Johannes is currently a doctoral student at Fielding Graduate University, Santa Barbara.

Andrea Martha Wandel
Co-Founder of the Aptitude-Academy, Diploma in Piano, long-standing experience as fully-licensed health practitioner and music teacher. Andrea has been teaching „health" to health professionals for several years. She is Director of the training program for Autonomic Body Screening and Psychological Field Screening. Andrea’s professional background comprises Trauma-Work, Neuraltherapy, Homeopathy, Systemic Constellations Work, Energy work, and Craniosacral Biodynamics. Apart from her rich practical experience in her own practice Andrea is known as a deeply appreciative person whose astounding sensitivity, well-balanced compassion and sometimes tough love generates self-healing and personal progress.

Since 1990, The Dutch Training Institute for NLP (NTI-NLP) helps people and organizations who want to increase their presentation capabilities. The institute was founded by Bouke de Boer and Dorien Groot, NLP Master-trainers. Through Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time-Lime Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnosis and techniques of self-understanding, our clients learn how to improve their capacity to reach their own targets. The NTI-NLP trainings are focused on „people who deal with people”. Because, communication is not limited to any specific social context, NLP techniques apply to both work and personal environments. The NTI-NLP institute also offers trainings aimed specifically at Family and organization counseling. The NTI-NLP institute is recognized by the ABNLP (American Board of Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and the Dutch Board of NLP ( NVNLP).
