Terms of Business
1. Order execution
Simply browsing through images/pages of a book does not imply a binding order, which shall go into effect only after you place an order. We shall accept the order via an order confirmation, and/or an invoice, and/or by delivering the item(s).
2. Right to cancellation
Unless you are acting in a commercial capacity, you may cancel the order within four (4) weeks after receipt of the item(s), in writing or by fax. A cancellation is deemed effective if the ordered item is returned in time to:

Once the item(s) has been returned properly, each party shall have the right to compensation for services rendered or benefits of use. If it is impossible to return the item(s) for any reason whatsoever, the equivalent value of the item(s) shall be reimbursed. Such reimbursement shall not apply to damage incurred solely during inspection.
3. Vendor’s lien
Our item(s) shall be delivered conditionally under a vendor’s lien, effective until receipt of payment in full. If your payment is more than two (2) weeks overdue, we may cancel the order, following which the item(s) must be returned.
4. Data protection
Personal information that we receive from you such as your name, address, date of birth, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number, bank account details and credit card number are processed in accordance with German data protection laws.
The passing on of data is excluded.
The order process is encoded using SSL (Security Socket Layer) for your protection. SSL is a protocol that was developed to enable data to be transferred securely over the internet. The browsers from Netscape and Microsoft both support SSL. SSL uses the public key infrastructure, whereby data encoded with a public key can only be deciphered using a unique private key.
5. Prices
The prices valid at the time of order placement shall be binding. These include the statutory VAT of 7% for books.

6. Delivery and payment terms
Unless otherwise agreed upon, the shipment shall be ex warehouse, Ringsberg. Delivery dates are estimates, except in cases where delivery has been guaranteed on a fixed date & time.
The invoice, included in the shipment, shall be payable upon order execution. Payment is acceptable via Pay Pal or the following credit cards only: American Express, EuroCard, MasterCard, and VISA. Credit cards will not be charged until after the order has been handed over to the shipper..
7. Warranty
Please file a claim without delay if you receive damaged goods under warranty. Alternatively, you may request either a replacement, cancel the order, or pay a reduced price, as permitted by law.
If the package is damaged, please have the carrier record and confirm the condition upon delivery.
8. Limitation of liability
We shall accept liability for damages, excluding endangerment to life or bodily injury or health, that arise from acts of willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part or from culpable breach of a material contractual provision. We expressly disclaim liability for any other damages.
9. Miscellaneous
Any changes or amendments to these Terms of Business shall be in writing, including a waiver of such a requirement.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of Germany, under express exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Nevertheless, express statutes of your country of residence shall remain in effect.
Jurisdiction for any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be in Flensburg in the event you do not normally reside in Germany, or move abroad after order execution, or if your domicile is unknown.
If any provision herein is declared illegal or becomes void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
