We're extremely fortunate to announce that Johannes B. Schmidt has agreed to come to the Seattle-Kirkland area to conduct a workshop this year in November on trauma resolution. Johannes' expertise as a facilitator, author, coach and trainer is of the highest caliber. I recently attended his workshop in North Carolina and it was by far one of the most powerful healing experiences of my life. I have a greater sense of self and purpose and a greater degree of compassion for others after attending. Touching the Untouchable

Being fully alive is a deep longing in every person. So deep is the craving for vitality, joy, vibrancy and full participation in life that we cannot ignore our hunger for completion and wholeness. We cannot live for less than we are. We are driven towards reunion with our deepest Self.

Getting in touch with ourselves, however, is no easy business. In the very beginning of life, we undergo imprints that form our basic behavior patterns. Conception, embodiment, intrauterine experiences, as well as the quality of birth, attachment, systemic family dynamics, and traumatic experiences have a strong impact on our self-relationship and on the way we experience the world.

These early experiences reach deep into our somatic, emotional, neuronal, and spiritual makeup. Modifying the way we are requires safe holding, mindful attentive presence, and patient gentleness to invoke healing in the different levels of our being-nature.

This seminar offers the opportunity to inquire into your own being-nature within the supportive framework of a group. Finally meeting your Self can be a liberating experience that deepens well-being, connection, and intimacy with your self and the world around you.

In Systemic Constellation Work we set up people as all-body-receptors to tune into a co-created field of inquiry. You bring your questions to the field and pick up information via embodied perception, observation of systemic interconnectedness, and reciprocal dialogue.

Trauma Training

The trauma training is limited to twenty professionals and participants. Registration is on a first come first serve bases. Johannes uses cranial sacral biodynamics along with family constellations. The training consists of four modules taught throughout a year.

Trauma Resolution

Trauma work is about connecting with your "being" nature and resources. It is about going from a felt-sense to an integrated felt-self. It is about getting into coherent resonance with the fundamental rhythms of life and integrating the developmental knowledge and experience of embryology, pre- and perinatal psychology, and neuropsychology. To touch the origin of your being-nature is a humbling and gently rejuvenating experience. It is an awe-inspiring journey to the birthplace of your spiritual roots. Dis-ease turns into ease, separation into connection and stuck-ness into flow.

In this workshop, by combining the experience of constellation work with that of trauma work, we go one step further. We apply systemic constellations to inner, non-verbal processes and trauma resolution. We will explore our inner realities and find new ways of relating to ourselves and thus to life and the world around us.

The interface of trauma resolution work and systemic constellations provides the opportunity to use the wisdom of both to open you to a deeper relationship with yourself and to integrate the nonverbal, embodied experience of the time between conception and age three, the time of pre-verbal traumatic experiences. The group holds the field, providing a safe container for the process to unfold. The containment and gentle pace of the process helps to externalize critical life experiences and disengage from events which overwhelmed in the past. The quality of the observer's presence invites you into exploration, with a stillness and gentleness that transforms emotional wounds and fosters healing. This workshop is a gift for yourself and an invitation to compassionate self-healing - the place where you and your self meet.

20 Days Certified Training Course

Intention of the program:
This introduction into systemic thinking and constellation work prepares you for the challenges of an ever more complex world. The interconnectedness of our life can not be grasped with analytical thinking alone. New ways of pre-sensing and understanding what is to come are essential for our effectiveness in a fast changing world.

In this training you will learn the potential of systemic constellation work as well as theory about systemic thinking. We will deal with questions of all aspects of your life as undue specialisation will not provide the fitness you need for global challenges to come. Questions about your life-situation, career, family, personal processes, spirituality, organizational, strategic or philosophical issues as well as your relational capacity are all welcome to fully fathom the potential of this work.

This training appeals to professional people from all walks of (business) life, who feel concerned about the human factor in their daily routines.

This training is not only a 'training'. It is also about taking you, your present situation and the fast changing world seriously. It is a perfect course to enrich your thinking with transforming ideas, moving experiences and embodied cognition.

The group will range from 14 – 20 people. Previous knowledge is not necessary for attendance. However experience in Coaching, or Consulting techniques, as well as self-modification is advantageous. Johannes Schmidt facilitates the course in English (basic knowledge is sufficient). Documentation and books are available in Dutch and English.
